The part-time option

Supplement your homeschool curriculum with two afternoons a week at KCA, learning alongside our full-time students.

How it works

Two afternoons, four subjects

We understand that, for a variety of reasons, full-time enrollment is not the most desirable option for every family. Part-time classes take place on Monday and Wednesday afternoons: arrival is during the afternoon break (12:25–12:55) and classes end at 3:25.

  • Christian Studies and Science — twice per week
  • Music and Phys. Ed. — once per week
  • Monday & Wednesday, 12:55–3:25 pm
  • A parent lounge/workspace with free wifi, so you don’t need to drive home

An amended student handbook for part-time students is available.

To offset additional staffing needs, parents of part-time students are asked to join a rotation of volunteer classroom help.

  • Part-time classes are not available for JK/SK.
  • Space is limited due to class-size restrictions.
  • Part-time students follow the same dress code and code of conduct as full-time students.
  • The application and enrollment process is the same as for full-time students.
