Classical Christian education in Ingersoll, Ontario

King’s Cross Academy partners with parents to raise students who read well, think well, and speak well — cultivating wisdom, virtue, and excellence under the Lordship of Christ.

What we're built on

Six commitments that shape every school day

Everything at KCA flows out of these six convictions.

Christ-Centred

Christ is the centre and starting point of all learning and wisdom. Through prayer and petition, students are taught to view all of life under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Classical

We follow the timeless classical model — moving students through the trivium's grammar, logic, and rhetoric stages, matched to how children naturally grow.

Church Led

As a ministry of Crossroads Bible Church, the academy's doctrine and convictions are guarded by the church's elders, so students are disciplined and discipled according to God's word.

Character Building

Education is not merely accumulating knowledge, but growing in wisdom and virtue — learning to apply knowledge with moral excellence through faith and repentance.

Culture of Excellence

We are committed to academic and spiritual excellence. Our comprehensive curriculum encourages imagination and develops body, mind, and soul.

Community of Families

Parents have the primary role in a child's education and discipleship. We are a community of families who are involved and invested in the academy's life.

Our mission & vision

Training future dragon slayers

The kind of men and women who will lead and not follow, fear God and not men.

A King's Cross Academy teacher leading a lesson

Our mission

To partner with parents in accomplishing their God-given task of raising their children in the paideia of the Lord by providing an affordable, Christ-centred, classical, Christian education.

Our vision

We seek to graduate students who can read well, think well, and speak well by cultivating within them wisdom, virtue, and excellence — the kind of men and women who will lead and not follow, fear God and not men, and slay dragons.

A time-tested model

The classical difference

We are dedicated to cultivating hearts and minds through the timeless principles of classical Christian education. Rooted in the truth of God’s Word, our rich curriculum nurtures wisdom, virtue, and a lifelong love of learning.

Students move through the grammar, logic, and rhetoric stages of the trivium, an approach that matches teaching to each season of childhood and has served Christian education for centuries.

From our families

What parents say

Families choose KCA for many reasons — here's what a few of them tell us.

Our three kids started part-time while we homeschooled, and they loved it so much that they're coming full-time this year. The teachers, the friendships, the joy of it all. KCA won our whole family over.
Lauren · Mother of three
My son and daughter both attend KCA, and I couldn't imagine them anywhere else. They're known, they're loved, and their confidence is improving as they are encouraged by their wonderful teachers to be the best students they can be.
Heather · Mother of two
I really appreciate the part-time option that KCA offers. My kids learned a lot, and it's good to know they're being taught by solid people. It's a great supplement to our homeschool curriculum.
Matt · Father of two
